We decided to ditch the heat and make our way up to Idaho last week. We wanted to be there for the 4th of July. We drove all the way there :( Not my favorite thing to do with a new baby. It took us 13 hrs to get to Orem thanks to the Hoover Dam (a picture of the new bridge incase you haven't been there in a while.)
Not to mention the frequent stops for feedings and potty breaks!
We ended up stopping to feed the baby next to an Indian art shop. So, Seth and Madi got out to stretch their legs and check out the shop. Behind the shop there was a really cool koi pond with a grass area and a bunch of peacocks walking around. Madi had a blast chasing them all around.
We stopped in Orem for the night with Seths Grandma Rush and then left as soon as we got up the next morning. Just 3 1/2 hours to Idaho Falls
It would take forever if I were to tell you everything that we did, but Madi sure had fun getting reacquainted with all of her cousins out there. They had only seen her once when she was 9 months old.
